Introduction

Recently, Yingchen New Energy Technology Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "YC Solar") successfully connected to the grid for power generation in the 50MW photovoltaic power generation project in Jinkunlun, Golmud, Qinghai, injecting "green power" into the realization of the "double carbon" goal of energy conservation and emission reduction.

Golmud City is located in the western part of Qinghai Province, at the south-central edge of the Qaidam Basin, and belongs to the Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, with the total annual solar radiation exceeding 6800 MJ/m2 and the highest in Lenghu area reaching 7117.2 MJ/m2. There are many sunny days in the Qaidam Basin, and the good utilization period is long. The solar radiation in Golmud and its surrounding Xiaozaohuo, Nuomuhong and other places is also between 6900~7000MJ/m2, and the solar radiation resources are relatively rich.

Optimize the structure of the local energy industry according to local conditions

The project site is located in Utu Meiren Township, Golmud City, Qinghai Province, with drastic temperature changes, frequent extreme weather, large perennial sandstorms, and low average temperature. The overall use of Yingchen YCM series of high-efficiency sand-resistant components, can cope with the challenges brought by extreme environments.

With an installed capacity of 50MW, it is expected that the annual power generation will be about 86 million degrees, which is equivalent to planting about 4.7 million trees, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 68,000 tonnes, and at the same time reducing the emission of various air pollutants, which is of great significance in promoting the optimisation of the structure of the local energy industry, accelerating the construction of a new energy growth pole in the region, and boosting the high-quality development of the economy.

The successful grid connection of the Golmud Jinkunlun project and the use of the "PV development + ecological management" mode in accordance with local conditions will effectively improve the local ecological environment, provide valuable experience for the promotion and application of PV sand control technology in Qinghai, help Qinghai build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system, and contribute to the creation of a national clean energy industry highland and an ecological civilisation highland for Qinghai Province.
