According to incomplete statistics, as of 2023, the total number of operating gas stations in China has reached more than 120,000, in the context of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, the construction of a new model with "zero carbon" gas stations and "zero carbon" service areas as the main body has become an inevitable route for the transformation and upgrading of highway service areas, gas stations, etc., in order to adapt to the phased direction of various transportation departments under the new goal.

Recently, General Office of the State Council, PRC, issued the Opinions on Comprehensively Promoting the Construction of a Beautiful China, which points out that it is necessary to promote the transformation of the whole field, vigorously promote the greening of economic and social development and low carbonization, accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation in the fields of energy, industry, transportation, urban and rural construction, agriculture, etc., and strengthen the green scientific and technological innovation, so as to strengthen the endogenous impetus and innovative vitality of the construction of a beautiful China.

In 2014, Yingchen Technology undertook the first distributed photovoltaic power generation project of Sinopec sales system - Hainan Century Gas Station 30 kW photovoltaic project, which is not only the first industrial and commercial distributed PV project of Sinopec Sales Corporation, but also the first one in Hainan Province. Taking the petrochemical industry as an example, due to the particularity of its production and operation, the safety, stability and reliability of photovoltaic power generation projects are extremely high requirements. Relying on four national R&D platforms such as Yingli Group's National Key Laboratory of Photovoltaic Materials and Batteries, the "YC Solar Free Light" project has continued to increase investment in R&D, and formed two advanced technologies in the field of power stations, namely, "leading system integration technology" and "full-life-cycle power generation performance optimization technology". Combined with the self-developed supply chain management platform, project construction management platform, remote centralized intelligent operation and maintenance management platform, online training platform, power generation measurement and calculation applet and other digital intelligence platforms and tools, the quality of the project's equipment, construction quality and operation quality are guaranteed to the greatest extent possible to make the power plant run more efficiently, so that the system efficiency of the power plant can reach 85%，which is 3 percentage points higher than the industry average, guaranteeing that the project will pay back the capital in at least 5 years and operate reliably for 30 years.
