Recently, YC Solar successfully passed the audit of the UN Global Compact Office and formally joined the UN Global Compact.

The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest international organization promoting corporate sustainability. The concept of ESG was first proposed by the UNGC, which was founded in 2000 with the mission of guiding and supporting the global business community in advancing the goals and values of the United Nations through responsible business practices.

With more than 20,000 business and other stakeholder participating members from nearly 170 countries, the participating members are committed to the ten principles of the Global Compact, which are based on United Nations conventions and cover the areas of human rights, labour standards, the environment and anti-corruption, and to accelerating the process of leading the global process of sustainable development by working with a wide range of partners in a joint effort to advance the achievement of broader United Nations goals and to better respond to the challenges of the globalization process.

As a practitioner and promoter of the “double carbon” strategy, YC Solar has been relentlessly promoting the journey of sustainable development, and in April 2023, YC Solar joined the China Corporate Climate Initiative to build a better future of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature with practical actions.
