“Carbon Neutrality” Thematic Research Group of People’s Daily Online Entered YC Solar

On June 29th, the “Carbon Neutrality” thematic research group of People’s Daily Online walked into YC Solar to investigate the energy saving and emission reduction industrial projects and the development of low carbon lifestyle supporting industries. Propaganda Department of Baoding Municipal Party Committee, Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, as well as Propaganda Department of Tang County of the relevant leading comrades accompanied the research.

It is understood that under the guidance of the Network Communication Bureau of the Central Cyber Office, People’s Daily Online planned to launch the “Hello, Carbon Neutrality” thematic research. The important results of the research will be widely publicized and reported from various angles and channels, telling the story of China's green development to the world and demonstrating China's great achievements in low-carbon transformation and development. As a pilot city for climate investment and financing, Baoding has made outstanding achievements in recent years in supporting the development of low-carbon projects, promoting green industry agglomeration, boosting green and low-carbon transformation, and creating a “national capital of carbon-neutrality industry”, etc. The research will produce many internationalized media works, which will be released on domestic and overseas platforms, showing in various ways Baoding’s significant practices in practicing the double-carbon commitment.

The research group has walked into the intelligent production workshop of YC Solar, PV showroom and field inspection of PV power station in Taihang Mountain area, interacted with the head of company around the production process of PV green products, the good environmental benefits of PV power generation, etc., and excavated the innovative highlights and excellent cases to make preparations for the publicity of the selected topics, methods and perspectives.

At the symposium, Yin Xiaolong, a fourth-grade researcher of Baoding Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department, presided over the meeting. An Hongbo, Minister of Propaganda Department of Tang County Party Committee, delivered a speech. Guo Hui, deputy director of Bureau of industry and information technology of Baoding, introduced that Baoding is an important production base for power transmission and distribution and new energy high-end equipment in China, and is known as “China's Power Valley”. After years of development, Baoding’ s electric power and new energy high-end equipment clusters have formed five major industrial systems of wind power, photovoltaics, hydrogen energy, new energy storage, and power transmission and distribution. Baoding has become the core gathering area of the whole industry chain of clean energy equipment, and was awarded the “National Advanced Manufacturing Cluster”, which fills the gap in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and provides support and guarantee for the country’s major energy development strategies.It is hoped that through this event, Baoding’s distinctive features such as complete industrial chain, strong innovation momentum, collaborative opening up and high efficiency will be fully displayed, actively integrated into the unified domestic market, and help build a “carbon-neutral industrial capital” and export complete sets of equipment and technical services to countries along the “One Belt and One Road”.
